| sittin here in houston. my ex home of about 5 years at my friend steves house. my friend Lam came over last night and showed us his GAT (his gun, his piece, his heater). he told me about whats been goin on with him. his car got shot up by a gang, so now hes driving his moms car. but all in all hes doin good, staying up in school, hes got a girl friend, hes lost some weight; glad to see hes doin well.
visited some colleges, Rice U and Wash U. I like the Wash U campus more but Rice is a much better school. i dno where i will end up. It would be fantastic if my mom would let me go to UT with all my friends in Texas; maybe if i dont get into any other schools ill get to to to UT. that would be pretty rad.
So my FIRST JOB is going swell. Im working at a baseball clinic teaching little kids how to play. Its rewarding in alot of ways. Its giving me my first taste of what it might be like to be a parent. You tell a kid to do something, trying to correct a flaw in his technique or form, and his next turn he makes the exact same mistake. sometimes its frustrating, but then i take a step back and tell myself they are only 5-6-7-8-9 years old. but my coworkers are really cool; my best friend sky is wokring with me, and we usually are incharge of our group even though we are junor instructors, because we are just that good with kids. i like my job alot, and i like my paychecks even more. so far ive made 1000 dollars, and 800 of it is sitting in my pocket. i wanted to buy a fake ID but my connection got arrested =/ so thats bust. i think ill just buy some clothes and some other nice stuff. a year ago i would have bought a Pearl drum kit, but i cant now.
my summer hasnt had many highlights so far, its just been a pretty smooth and enjoyable ride.
but anyways, if anyone still checks this, let me know how your summer is cause i would be glad to hear about it. |
